the outfits worn

the jokes we shared

the photos we took

the laughs we shared together

i remember it all under clear light, bright, clear light

and i am grateful oh so grateful for it all

i remember the love i felt by your side, holding your hands in between mine

i remember the safety that held me through the night

i remember the smell of freedom and power

i have loved so deeply, so wonderfully

i have loved and i have been loved and to those standing by my side still, i am oh so very grateful

i miss the days when we were together, but i have learnt to let go of the missing pieces
